I grew up in this house and the adjoining 150 tillable acres in Holder, IL. Mom and Dad moved into the house in early 1975 and as of Oct 2018, still enjoy living in this home. They have mad numerous improvements and expansions to the house and property over the years.
I was unaware of the barn (corn crib?) on the far eastern side of the property (left) and had only heard of a workers house on the property but was unaware of the location (bottom center in this image).
The garage (center), small storage shed (slightly right) and main house are the only structures still standing as of 2018. The (while) cattle barn grain bins were lost in a tornado in the fall 1996. A modern, pole-barn style machine shed was constructed in 1997 where the cattle barn had stood.
Many great memories on this house and property with friends and family!
