Current location of Mackey's Hideout, 2601 S. River Road in McHenry, on the east side of Griswold Lake

Located on S River Road near Dowell Rd. the location was known as Casey's and Casey's Hall, also Casey's Food Mart, from about 1959-1985 owned by Casimer Pociask (1911-1991) and Harriette Pociask (1910-1993). The hall for a number of years was used as a voting precinct on election day in McHenry County. This area had been known as Griswold Lake. In 1988-2005 it was known as Sword's Saloon owned by Theodore Sword. And since 2005, this location has been known as Mackey's Hideout.
