It looks like they have some hay for feeding in the yard. Do you remember what animals they had on the property?
Dad always raised cattle. They were his prize and joy. He even bought a long horn calf 1 year and raised him until he was old. We have been told dad had the best alfalfa hay in the area. He built a large hay barn after this picture was taken to store his winter hay in.
