Reddick, Illinois. Looking southeast at the intersection of N. Shelly Avenue and Lincoln Street. The Standard station is located in the SE corner of the intersection. The church is gone, and Reddickβs Post Office is there now. At this point in time, Shelly Avenue was Illinois Route 17. The Norfolk and Western is in the background. Despite the fact that the picture is found under Livingston County, Reddick is actually in Kankakee County.
Yes for the most part Reddick is in Kankakee county, when looking at this picture Shelly Ave. is Rt.17 and is the county line that runs North & South there are houses on the West side of the road that are in Livingston county and all the other pictures on this roll are in Livingston county
