This is now my small acreage, 1609 Scenic Bluff Road, Thomson, Illinois. The original farm was split up around the mid 1980's and my wife and I have 13+ acres. I have an aerial photo that was taken around 1964 from a different angle. We bought the acreage in mid 2002 and burned down the original farm house. We built a new one just north and east of the original house and moved in 2003. All that remains is the barn / loafing shed, the silo (without the top) the machine shed, and the hog shed. We now have several aerial photos taken in 2012 from the same angle as that taken around 1964. I have both photos framed and hanging side by side in my living room
