The "Hagan Mall" at corner of U.S. Hwy. 280 and Hodges Street once housed Randy Shuman's hair salon; Teeny Shuman's jewelry shop; Jimmy Shuman's 'Hobby Attic'; and Becky Shuman's recording studio. A convenience store / gas station was built behind the gas pumps seen in this photo and, as of 2022, still stands. The "L" shaped building comically referred to as the "Hagan Mall" has been demolished (as of 20220. The gas station / convenience store, once property owned by the Shuman family, still is in operation as of 2022.
In this 1984 aerial photo, the gas station / convenience store that stands on this corner as of 2022 has not yet been built. This corner lot and buildings were purchased by H. G. Shuman / Shuman Oil Co., Inc. from Bo Sikes.
