Harse & Hazel Bass place. Brendan & Meghan Dow live there now. Notice the old bus...my granddaddy, Mr. Harse, and others would play poker down in the woods on Sundays in this old bus, remodeled with couches, tables, & propane heaters.

My great grandfather Redden Bass actually built this house back in the mid 1800s. He and his wife Sude raised 9 children there. This place holds a lot of great memories for me. I also remember my dad, Elmer Purvis, playing poker in the woods on Sunday.

That is AWESOME! I think it is the oldest house in our area still standing. It was remodeled a couple of years ago, but the outside pretty much looks the same.
